Referrals & Scope of Practice
As a private practice, there are some situations that fall outside the scope of care Spence Counseling Alliance can safely provide. These include active suicidality, substance use that significantly impairs daily functioning, and severe or untreated psychiatric conditions requiring intensive services. In these cases, referrals to appropriate providers will be made.
