Midlife Women's
Therapy

You’re not broken. You’re in a life transition that deserves care, not judgment. Midlife isn’t the end.
It’s a powerful threshold — full of grief, growth, and rediscovery. As a licensed therapist and fellow midlife mom, I help women navigate the messy middle:

  • Process the invisible grief of the empty nest

  • Untangle identity from old roles

  • Reclaim voice, space, and self-worth

If you’ve been holding it all together for everyone else — and quietly falling apart in the process — therapy can be the space where you finally exhale. This isn’t about fixing you. It’s about finally centering you.

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

“Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.”
~ Brene Brown

Choosing to begin therapy is a brave step. Whether you are coming to therapy to work through relationship issues, process past trauma, or manage symptoms of depression and anxiety, I welcome you to arrive as you are and we will work as a team to address the struggles you face and enrich your future.

WALK TALK THERAPY

“Nature holds the key to our aesthetic, intellectual, cognitive and even spiritual satisfaction.”
~ E.O. Wilson

There is something freeing about the idea of walking and talking, without the pressure of eye contact, away from the more restrictive environment of the consulting room. It can be easier to process difficult emotions and release bodily trauma through movement and pace, rather than being confined to a chair. Movement can also combat the feeling of being emotionally stuck, and uncomfortable feelings tend to dissipate faster in nature. An outdoor walking therapy session offers clients the opportunity to reduce stress, relieve body tension, breathe deeply, clear the mind of intrusive thoughts, regulate mood, release endorphins and enjoy more restful sleep.

TEEN THERAPY
AGE 16+

“It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are.”
~ E.E. Cummings

Teen years can be especially tough for adolescents and their parents. Having a trusted adult ,outside of family, can help teens feel more comfortable talking openly and working through issues that can feel overwhelming. Therapy for teens can help develop skills that allow them to manage strong emotions, improve communication, increase impulse control, develop self confidence, process challenges and strengthen relationships. I start by getting to know your teen while building trust and safety. Sometimes this looks like doing art, games, videos and role playing. Humor will usually find its way into a session!
